Beams = a long thick bar of wood, metal or concrete, especially one which is used to support the roof of a building.
Concrete = a substance usel for building which is made by mixing together cement, sand, small stones and water.
Fail ​= If someone fails to do something that they were tryung to do, they do not succeed in doing it.
Frame = an arrangement of bars that give an object its shape and strength.​
Lobster= the outer parts of something are the parts wich contain or enclose the other parts.
Pylons = Pylons or electricity pylons are metal structures which hold edelctric cables high above the ground so that electricity can be transmitted over long distances
Outer = the outer parts of something are the parts which contain or enclose the other parts.
Screw = is a small, sharp piece of metal which you use to fix two things together. When you twist the screw with a screwdriver, it goes through one thing and into the other thing.

Slab = a broad flat thick piece of wood, stone, or other material.
​Span = A bridge that spans something such as a river or a valley streches right across it. A span is also the interval, space, or distance between two points, such as the ends of a bridge or arch.
​Skyscraper = a very tall building in a city.
​Squash = to press or squeeze or be pressed or squeezed in or down so as to crush, distort, or pulp.
​Squeeze = When you squeeze something soft or flexible, you presss it firmly from two sides.
Steel = a very strong metal which is made mainly from iron.​
​Stress = the force acting per unit area.
Weld = If you weld two pieces of metal together, you join them by heating their edges and fixing then together so that theycool and harden into one piece.
Wire = A long thin piece of metal they is used to fasten or connect things.
Withstand = when a beam withstand a force it doesn´t break or fail because of the force.​
